Since in the world the overall attention versus the environmental problems is heavily increasing, Stilolinea has decided, some years ago, to give its contribution to this very important social issue and to introduce in the market ballpoint pens produced with a resin coming from the plants’ startch chemical conversion, a new bio-plastic supplied by a North American world leader company: NatureWorks LLC (NW).

Stilolinea has developed a strict relationship with this company, which has allowed the use of a NW patented name – “Ingeo” – for the launch of the second Stilolinea compostable ballpoint pen. The environmental respect due to the use of the NW PLA (Polylactic Acid) is evidenced by the specific analysis results of a test made by the German accredited certification body DIN CERTCO.
